Cassie- Lincoln Senior Photographer

What can I say! This girl is special. Her Mom is my childhood friend and her Grandfather was a photographer for the Grand Island Independent back when we were kids. I used to look through his camera gear (Nikon, of course) and wish I had a bag of cameras and lenses just like that. I also used to love going into his dark room in the basement. The whole thing was fascinating to me- and I STILL dream about having as much equipment as he does. :)

Cassie was lots of fun. She's a girl involved in everything from Show Choir to Cheerleading with academic aspirations in college we all hope for our kids. We shot a little in the studio and headed out to the Haymarket. It was a great afternoon. Thanks Cassie!

Phillip- Lincoln Senior Portrait Photographer

Phillip came ready to MODEL! He must have been studying because he had no problem giving me poses. He and I had a great time shooting- although some of our outside plans were changed thanks to the sky and weather. Be watching for shoot number two!

Sam- Lincoln Headshot Photographer

Sam is bit of a star in Lincoln- and not just in the eyes of his family! If you are a lover of community theatre, you've probably seen Sam out there somewhere. We had a good time shooting some headshots for his theatrical endeavors.

Doug and Ricky- Lincoln Wedding and Engagement Photographer

One of the most rewarding things about being a photographer is having the title of Official Family Photog! I'm sure various photographers have a range of feeling on this topic, but I love being the "go-to" girl.
I planned a trip to Des Moines to take engagement pictures of my brother and his partner. We all talked and planned the perfect shot. We had envisioned a sunset shot off the steps of the capitol with the skyline behind them. The weather had different plans for us! We shot anyway, but we had to move quickly!

And that's all we got to shoot! The storm was rolling in and we were packing up as fast as we could! But my brother told me to take a few more shots. You just don't see a sky like that every day. I did a layout with several of these pix to get an idea of the sky. It's no fancy panoramic photograph, but you'll get the idea!

Charlotte- Lincoln Maternity Photographer

The pregnant belly is one of my favorite things to photograph. It's amazing what a woman's body can do! I was honored to spend an afternoon with Charlotte, capturing this fleeting time for her. She's such a beautiful girl and the pregnancy has her glowing. I love these images.

Katie and Tyler- Lincoln Wedding Photographer

Dan and I watched the weather all week leading up to this wedding. We bought rain guards for the cameras and were prepared for a bit of a rainy Saturday. The day before the wedding it looked as if we might escape the rain, but I had no idea what beautiful skies we would really have! We marveled at the intense blue above as we drove to St. Marks Church.

Katie and Tyler arranged to see one another for the first time at 2pm. Dan and I were lucky enough to be allowed in the room as the bride and groom set eyes on one another for the first time.

Before the guests arrived we had some fun shooting Katie and Tyler and the wedding party. We started at the church, then headed over to Holmes Lake for a few more pictures. It was so beautiful outside!

We headed back over to St Marks where both the ceremony and reception would be held. The ceremony was officiated by the bride's father. How special it must have felt for both father and daughter this day.

After a ceremony full of songs and stories, the bride and groom were pronounced husband and wife. We watched as they walked past family and friends and headed over to meet us at Holmes Lake for a few more pictures, now as newly weds!

After enjoying the sun and a nice breeze (and TONS of great pictures), we headed back to the church for the toasting, the cake, and some dancing!

Thanks Katie and Tyler-
for letting us share in such an important day! I know the rest of the night was fabulous!
